About the CongressWe are pleased to present to you the articles presented at the 12th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC 2007) held in Montréal, Canada, between July 8 and 13, 2007.
The objective of the ICCC 2007 meeting was to share leading edge scientific information and knowledge pertaining to innovative technologies and processes of interest to the cement science and manufacturing communities. It is also an opportunity to connect in an environment designed to help you build networks, meet with colleagues from around the world and explore an exciting new city.

The event was co-hosted by the National Research Council of Canada's Institute for Research in Construction and the Cement Association of Canada.

The theme of the Congress was "Cement Systems - a Knowledge-based Innovative Approach". Enclosed papers and abstracts cover issues relevant to both the cement industry and academia.
