ICCC: Permanent Secretariat

The permanent secretariat of the International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC) ensures the continuity of the congresses and maintains their high scientific level and clear technological focus.
This website describes the structure and the Operational Principles of the ICCC organisation. The Operational Principles ensure openness, transparency, good government and the efficient functioning of the ICCC, not only during congresses but also in the periods between them.

This website provides an insight into the Operational Principles and also the scientific and technological outcomes of the 14 congresses on cement and its application since 1918.

Based on a decision taken at the Steering Committee of the ICCC at its Congress in Prague in 2019, the Permanent Secretariat is hosted by its Secretary, Dr Jörg Rickert from VDZ, Duesseldorf, Germany.

The ICCC 2023 in Bangkok was a great success thanks to the excellent work by the organisers from Thailand, in particular Thanakorn Pheeraphan and Somnuk Tangtermsirikul.

The upcoming ICCC 2027 will be held on 18 – 22 October 2027 in New Delhi, India, and will be organised by the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB).
